Chapter Twenty Seven

He yelped in a pain when my elbow touched his wound. I tried to get up but he tightened his hold on my wrist making me stay there. I rolled my eyes at his antics.

"Jake, let me go. You are in pain." I said.

"I'm fine." He said with the pained expression.

I hold my laugh and glared at him.

"No, you're not fine. Let me go,"

"You won't let me take a shower and I won't let you go," He said with the smirk.

"You're incorrigible," I said shaking my head.

I tried to get up again but he put the arm around my waist locking me to his side. I looked at him with a frown and he wiggled his eyebrows at me challenging me to make him let go.

"I know how to make you let me go. Don't challenge me," I said running my hand on his rigid smooth chest and teasing his skin.

"It's not working, princess." He said with the smirk challenging me again.

My eyes went his moist lips and my breath hitched. I looked into his eyes and saw the same fire in them that he showed me in the hospital when I kissed him.
