Chapter 27 Pennsylvania

Hannah and I decided to visit mom and dad in New York. I feel like I’m at the lowest point in my life and I just need to hug my parents. I should have listened to my mom when she was yelling on the phone, right before the wedding.

Hannah and I finally arrive and we’re waiting outside the door.

We ring the doorbell, and my mom comes to open the door for us.

“Mom.” I say, in the softest voice.

“Come here.” Mom says, while pulling me close to her for a hug.
