Lucky's POV

I heaved a sigh for the nth time today. I've been thinking about what Zandra said. How she cried in front of us. How she burst into tears from being so emotional. She looked so pitiful I can't feel even an ounce of sympathy.

I understand how she feels. But I can't find myself to pity her because I've seen how she can be worse. I've tasted her wickedness.

"You okay?"

I was taken aback when Josh sat beside me. We're at the seashore.

Yes! We're back on the island. Josh was the first one who welcomed me. I still feel uneasy having him around but somehow, I'm thankful that he's fine now.

It seems like he had already forgotten our last encounter.

"Sorry. About the last time." I said apologetically.

He smiled at me and shook his head. "It's fine. I understand. Don't think about it, Lucky."

"But…" He heaved a sigh and slowly looked into my eyes. "I really like you, Lucky. Please let me court you."
