Chapter Thirty One

What was that?

"Hey, baby." A hand touched my shoulder.

"Oh my freaking!" I almost had a heart attack!

Holding my chest, i turned around and saw Lorcan looking bewildered at my reaction. I immediately calmed myself.

"What's going on?" He asked, his observant eyes stayed on mine. I gulped nervously.

"N-nothing." I looked away. His hand slid smoothly into my slightly fidgeting hand.

"Really?" He's seriously digging up into it!

But I can't find my voice to tell it to him. It's as if something is holding me back from doing so. My vision shifted to the people who went out of the conference and they aren't familiar to me, only Regina who left much earlier than them.
