Fuming and unable to accept that she had been used and dumped, she went back to Jaxton's office and picked files again as she went back to sort the issues with them.

She put Jaxton at the back of her mind as she continued working. He was not going to get into her head and disrupt her daughter and thoughts. No one gave him that sort of power.
