Chapter 34: Next morning.

Lucy's POV

My head was resting on something soft but not as soft as a pillow, I slowly rubbed my cheeks on the soft unknown object.

I heard faint giggling and I got more confused because it sounded familiar.

I groaned, as I slowly fluttered my eyes open and my eyes widened ,when I saw Desmond's face a few inches from mine and the place I was resting my head on was his hand.

I wanted to shout, but I quickly recomposed myself as I slapped my hand over my mouth and Desmond stirred up in his sleep and I prayed that he doesn't wake up ,to which he didn't.

He exhaled sharply and continued sleeping and I sighed in relief, as I heard the giggling again and I slowly removed my head from his hand and turned to see the kids standing by my side of the bed giggling.

"Good morning mommy." Danny greeted me.

"Good morning Miss Lucy." Joseph greeted me almost at the same time and I placed a finger on my lips and they did the same.
