Lucy's POV

When Leo began to call I was just put in a tight spot, I showed the phone to screen to Desmond.

I sincerely hoped that would change his mind and he would tell me to go on to my date.

"Sir please , I have made this appointment for a while now and I made sure I finish all my chores before going out." I told him.

"Please sir ,can you just get someone else to clean up your room. I can do it when I come back home, I can't just disappoint him." I pleaded with Desmond.

I was pleading with him just to spite him more, so he will think that this date was so important to me ,when I don't even care if I go or not.
