Chapter 66: Do I still love Vera?

Desmond's POV:

After what happened with Vera I went to talk to my mother.

I knew she liked Vera, my wife, a lot in the past, however after I told her what happened, she was obviously surprised and upset at what Vera did.

"Are you sure that the woman who you brought home is your wife?" She asked me in surprise, I rolled my eyes at her questions.

"Mom, she is my wife . We even carried out a DNA test. These days I am thinking I made a mistake by letting her stay in my house. I should have first let her stay somewhere that we could go and visit her first, she's making my house uncomfortable and tense for me and my son." I told my mom with a sigh.

I can't believe that I was the one that was behaving this way, her actions and behavior disgusted me, I can't even stand being around her because of how harshly she treats Joseph.

"That is a mistake you made but I understand that you were just excited to see her and that's why you wanted to bring her back home to your son." Mom told me.
