CHAPTER 69

The doctor told us to bring Achilles to the hospital, so they could watch him. I decided to go back to my condo, for now, I just realized that Martini has three hundred missed calls already.

When I arrived at the parking lot, my eyes settled on the two familiar black cars, right next to where I parked.

My forehead creased when I fully recognized it. It was the cars who chased us last night.

Two familiar men went out of it. Martini’s men. What is this all about? I followed them until Martini popped out in the scene, his firm fist landed on his men’s face. I couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but one thing is for sure, this is about what happened last night.

Seems like Martini is doing something behind my back. What’s new anyway? I shouldn’t have trusted him, from the very beginning.
