Heart thumping so fast, I was flustered. This isn't true right? My baby is already dead, two years ago. Is this some sort of prank or was it Martini’s scheme again?

Pulling myself up, I just roll back to the couch. I look once again at the picture, his smiling face, his dark green eyes, it reminds me of someone, Achilles.

What should I do now?

“Jada are you alright?”

I quickly hide the black envelope unnoticed as he scanned what I am doing.

“Yes, Sir Arnold? I’m good. Is everything set?” I asked instead, to divert his focus.

“Oh, yes we will be sending these invitations today, are you all good now?”

“Right, I’ll just go upstairs.”

I bid my goodbye and quickly went up, my heart was still in a race.

Taken aback when my phone suddenly rings, and when I took a glance at my screen, it was an unregistered number.

“H-hello?” I can’t hide my nervousness from my voice, as I stuttered upon answering the call.

“Miss me, Jada?”

My teeth gritted when I heard his voice.
