Isabella's POV

"What the fuck?" Christian yelled, his face flushed with anger as he approached his mom and stared at her with a concerned look while she stood like a statue as if she was deeply stunned by my action.

Then he turned around and grabbed my arm. "What the fuck Izzy?"

"D-Don't you think she deserved it for what she-"

"But she's my mom! You could've handled it differently!" He hissed, his face twisted into a deep scowl while I was mirroring his expression.

"But she's insulting your kid's mom!"

He sighed, letting me go and I slightly stumbled backward but regained my balance when Emma steadied me from behind.

"This is why I dislike her." His mother remarked out of the blue and I clenched my jaw, stepping forward.

"If you utter one more word, I'll send you where your husband is, you cunning bitch!" I spat and heard a few yelps which I already assumed but what I didn't guess was, that Christian would speak instead of his mom.
