Kathy left the room with a chuckle after she was done. Brooklyn was extremely conscious of herself and fidgeted around the room, arranging things. Nikolas’s eyes followed her around with amusement. “Are you feeling shy?” He asked at last. Brooklyn looked up at him startled.
“N-no, not at all,” she said, as a warm blush stained her face and neck at being caught.
