047: The Ophidian Kingdom

It was such a complicated decision, having everyone escape while he stood back to distract the giant snakes so they couldn't attack and hurt his people, mostly his wife.

The hissing snakes surrounded him menacingly. Finlay's wolf didn't even take any step backward. His eyes glinted with red, proving that he wasn't any ordinary werewolf and as they tried to pounce on him, he took a high leap and stood aside, growling really loud.

Ophelia upon hearing this stopped running, she had thought Finlay had gotten bitten by the snakes and tried to wiggle her wrist free from Lewis's grasp.

"My Luna, no! You can't.." Lewis persisted, tightening her grip on Ophelia's.

"Call me a coward to run away when my husband's life is in danger." Ophelia was close to tears and she finally succeeded in freeing her wrist from Lewis.

And as she ran, Jasper caught up with her and threw her over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes.
