109: Must Liberate Him

"We need to look for a way to release Cameron," Ronan said that evening when they all sat down for dinner.

"Why?" Ophelia looked at her brother-in-law.

"You don't want him dead, do you?" Ronan put his hand on the table as he looked from his wife to Ophelia.

"Of course not. But I can never be with a man like him, after everything he has done." Ophelia clasped her hands together on top of her thigh.

"That was before he came to you, he was a good man to our pack. A loving husband to you, even though he lived a lie the entire time." Sabrina smiled at Ronan upon having him speak of Cameron like that.

"It doesn't change anything. A man's past speaks a lot about him," Ophelia's tone was sharp as if wanting no room for argument.

"Your sister told me you're pregnant." Ronan carried on, after serving himself some kidney pie.

"Yes," Ophelia responded and let her gaze meet Sabrina's which was already fixated on her.

"For Cameron Snow," Ronan kept his fork town and intertwined his fingers together.
