Chapter 29: She should be feared

My head turned to the side as Agnes's slapped me in the face. I gaped my mouth and clenched my jaw to ease the heating of my skin. But that heat seems to rise in my head thinking that I am the victim of both of us and of both of us she's the one who fooled me, and she took away my rights from my family, then now of both of us even though she has this fault I am really the one who received a slap from her.

She actually yelled, "How dare you talk to me like that. Who do you think you are?!"

But I barked back facing her, "Do you think I'm afraid of you?! Hell no, Agnes!" Gritting my teeth, I brought my face closer to hers and hissed, "I have nothing to fear from you, because after all... I can kill you— wrong. I mean..." In a fit of rage, I grabbed her neck sternly and said, "I'll really kill you."

She struggled from my grip. I only used one hand but she was really too light for me when I lifted her. Despite the difficulty of breathing, she tried to call for help, "L-Lucas!"
