It felt as though she was monitoring me somewhere and wanted to know how my conversation went with Reina.

I had no choice but to answer the call after waiting for so long.

“Babe…,” I responded immediately after I answered the call.

“When are you coming home? I have spent some time in the kitchen preparing a masterpiece,” she said to me and it was when my stomach grumbled, reminding me that I had not eaten for a long time.
