By the time they got to the hospital, the whole car was overflowing with blood and Scarlett had lost consciousness again. Even without traffic and with how good of a driver Ryan was, they almost got into an accident multiple times as Liam kept slamming his hands against the back of Ryan's seat, urging him to drive faster.

Liam could not sit down after Scarlett was rushed to be operated on. He found himself pacing to and fro the hospital's waiting room. He had the urge to follow her into the room, no nurse or doctor would be able to stop him as the alpha, but he knew that his presence would only pressure the doctors.

Why was he this worried about Scarlett? The baby was not his, and he should be happy if she lost the child so that it would be easy to take her back with him, he couldn't wish that on her. He has seen first and foremost how a woman who lost her child could react from when Olivia lost her baby. She has nearly gone mad, and she was the one who asked for Scarlett to be ban
