"Well isn't it good to see you in a red shirt" David laughs at Scott when he comes in through the door. I turn my face the other way, trying to hide my smile. I made him wear that because I wanted him in a holiday spirit. Scott easily flips David off.
"Oh Storm darling" Elle greeted me with a warm hug. "It seems like months since I saw you at Thanksgiving" She winked at me.
"I made lots of cookies" I prompt to everyone including Scott's parents. Val sends me a kiss before dipping her hand in a green sock and pulling out lots of candies. I invited Rose and Hailey too and they're here. It's all so amazing.
"Seems like Val is all over the place already" Elle giggles. I move on from her to say hi to Grace. She sends me a warm smile before pulling me in for a hug. In the process, I glance at Scott's dad and he grins at me before walking to Carter and the two men banter about whatever they were talking about.
