“She is so pretty. I love your hair. ” I commented and Dayna smiled.

“I recently dyed it. Last time it was platinum blonde.” She said, brushing her hair once and my eyes glittered. She had an intimidating aura but had a calm personality.

Before walking out of the cell, I kicked Sean and David on their asses and they both jolted upright. Sean’s hair was all over his face as he panted for air. “What happened? Did we die?”

“Not yet.” Dad said and Sean and David exchanged glances before getting up.

“Who is she?” David pointed at Dayna, glaring at her. He probably caught on her demonic aura.

“We can do the introductions later. Time is running out.” Dayna said in a serious tone and we walked in a line down the hall of the dimly lit dungeon.

Two cloaked figures rounded the corner and approached us. I was about to attack them but then I caught on a familiar scent.

“Jan!” Dad shouted and ran up to the cloaked figure, enveloping mom in a hug. The hood fell off her face and mom hugged
