Fifty-fourth Run

When they finally know that there's danger lurking in the forest, they immediately start their bus and camping truck and get as far as they can from that place. They don't want to be in that place anymore. After all, they don't know what was in that forest. The bus rolled to a stop in a relatively open area, away from the dense forest that had concealed the mutated threats. Even though it was an open area, for them, it was much safer than that place. That forest gave them chills all over their bodies. The night sky stretched above, a tapestry of stars twinkling overhead. With the engine silenced, an almost eerie quiet settled around them.

They still couldn't get used to the eerie silence in the surrounding area.

Jarvis, positioned by the window of the bus, scanned the surroundings one last time. "We're clear," he called out.
