Forty-first Run

The bus rumbled to a stop in front of an abandoned elementary school, its windows shattered and the playground eerily empty. Somehow, their hearts became heavy. After all, this is a place where innocent students are studying. If it weren't for the fact that the school will be opened in the afternoon, there may be a lot of students here, and they might be having a hard time cleaning them.

Liam, Brandon, Hannah, Marcky, and Jarvis exchanged glances, and a decision was silently made to explore the area. This is the perfect place since the gate is still good to use.

As they entered the school, they closed the gate to make them feel a little at ease. After all, the mindless creatures have no ability to open any kind of gate or door. They are only able to move freely when there is no obstacle.
