Chapter 29

Jazz POV

I had cried myself to sleep after kicking Asphalt out of my house. And now, I couldn't sleep properly because of my itchy throat. This was bad, I shouldn't have cried so much.

The fact that I cried because of him made me feel So pathetic. I even had to thank God that Arianna didn't see me in that state. She did freak out and accuse me of still having feelings for Asphalt and then she would get mad.

Arianna isn't someone I could easily piss off and get away with. She would cluster my schedule until I forget the letter A ever existed.

I finally rolled out of my bed after getting some water to quench my itchy throat to avoid any complications with my voice.

The house was dimly lit and everyone was fast asleep. But the kitchen light was on which wasn't our style. Before we went to bed we made sure to turn off all the lights. Maybe, Arianna must have forgotten to turn it off.

I went into the kitchen and no one was there but the coffee maker was dripping coffee.
