She rubbed her eyes and then looked again. No. It can’t be. She would blame it on her pregnancy hormones, but she was getting crybaby. Over emotional at everything. She held the door firmly not to fall down but her knees buckled up underneath her and she would have fallen down if Xavier had not held her.

She looked at his handsome face, his eyes that lost the shine. He had not trimmed his beard; he had not followed the skin care routine Caroline introduced him to. He might have lost a few pounds too; still he was the most handsome man on earth. She raised her fingers to touch his face but days worth exhaustion finally took over.
