Chapter 29. Love note

Mark reached home at four o clock. He was an hour and a half early. He parked his mustang in the garage and reached behind his seat for the bouquet of flowers. He knew his wife would be home at five as usual and wanted to surprise her. Part of him felt guilty for the days events but then he had a thought, " if you did it and you liked it, have no regrets"

He looked at the bouquet of blood red roses in his hand and neatened up the roses that had fallen out of place from the car ride. He walked into the house and entered the dining room. It was empty, the table was clear. He layed down the bouquet on the centre of the table and picked up the writing pad from the dresser.

Taking out the gold crested pen from the top pocket of his coat, he started to write.

" My love, every day with you is like a blessing. I love spending every moment with you. You are the best part of my life. The mother of our two beautiful kids. I appreciate everything you do for us. You mean the world to me and I love
