134. False Memory

"Do not yell at me," I said through gritted teeth. My brother-in-law was foaming at the mouth with anger and I couldn't care less.

"The hell I won't. This is my house, and I can do whatever the hell I want." He yelled.

"That's what this is about, isn't it? You can't stand me living here because you are mistreating my sister."

"That is not true and you know it."

His veins were comical as they bulged on his forehead. If I wasn't so angry, I would be laughing right now.

"Right, because you are the poster child for the perfect husband?"

"I won't stand here and be insulted by you. Paris, warn your sister or I won't be responsible for any of my actions." He yelled at my sister.

She stood to the side with her hands folded across her chest like she wanted to disappear.

"I hope you are not threatening me, Henry. That would be stupid." I narrowed my eyes at him.

I wanted to comfort my sister but this jerk needed to be put in his place. He has gone too far this time.
