76. Bold Step

Elysia's Pov

I woke up early in the morning, still feeling groggy from the previous night's events. As I got out of bed, I heard Ian's voice coming from downstairs. I quickly got dressed and rushed down to see what was going on.

When I arrived at the bottom of the stairs, I saw Ian sitting at the dining table with a young woman. She was wearing revealing clothes and I could see that she was quite young. I walked over to them, confused and asked Ian, "Who is this?"

Ian looked up at me with a big smile on his face and said, "Mommy, this is my new nanny! Her name is Rachel."

I looked at the woman and asked her, "Who are you?"

"I'm Rachel, your son's new nanny," she replied with a sweet smile.

I was taken aback, I didn't know that Damon had hired a new nanny for Ian. I turned to Damon who was standing behind me, looking at me with a blank expression. "What is going on?" I asked him.
