Chapter 76 - Zayden?
Cressida's P.O.V.
I knew I couldn't trust that little piece of shit. When I stopped ripping Gabe apart for not getting the princess back, I realized Trevor was gone. I sent out a spell to find him and imagine my surprise when I saw him at the palace. I should kill him, but I can't yet. I still need him, and even if he's conspiring with the enemy, his debt to me has not been paid. He owes me for allowing him to be born. I send a lightning bolt down to scare him, but they're gone before it even hits the ground. How did they do that? Did Trevor get some of my power and not tell anyone? I'll make him pay for keeping things from me. I send my cloud away and look at Gabe. "Your no-good son is at the palace. Would you like to explain to me what he's doing there?" I ask him. Jessi's P.O.V.I'm staring at Dr. Neelson with an arrow in his chest and the note hanging on the end, but I still can't believe what I'm seeing. Why was he killed? Cressida's P.O.V. That little bastard Trevor is going to pay. Not only did he go to the palace with no intention of helping get the princess. He's now found his mate, who happens to be a witch. That wouldn't be a bad thing, but she's a good witch. When I felt her removing the spell I had inside him, I immediately knew where she'd come from. Not many witches can overpower dark magic, but those from the Moonrise Coven can. Gabe isn't back yet with my virgins, so I'm just walking around this shack still as a skunk. I should have never trusted either of them. They are going to ruin everything for me because of their incompetence. Now that the palace has that witch there, I'm sure she's placing a protection spell around them. It won't stop me from attacking, but it will change the method I use. We have an army of rogues ready to attack when I tell them to, but they're useless if they're going to get themselves killed.
