Chapter 77 - Another Threat
Jessi's P.O.V.
I'm staring at Dr. Neelson with an arrow in his chest and the note hanging on the end, but I still can't believe what I'm seeing. Why was he killed? More importantly, who the fuck is after us now? I turn when I hear footsteps, and I see Ryder and Zoe. I guess Wyatt mindlinked them. "What happened?" Ryder asks, looking at Dr. Neelson. "I called my dad and discovered that the rogue who looks like Zayden and has Zayden's DNA is not actually Zayden. We came to Dr. Neelson to ask how that was possible and found him like this," I still can't wrap my head around this. We don't need another crazed psychopath. One trying to kill us is more than enough; thank you! I walk over and remove the note from the arrow. I notice one of the windows is open, and I peer outside. Cressida's P.O.V. That little bastard Trevor is going to pay. Not only did he go to the palace with no intention of helping get the princess. He's now found his mate, who happens to be a witch. That wouldn't be a bad thing, but she's a good witch. When I felt her removing the spell I had inside him, I immediately knew where she'd come from. Not many witches can overpower dark magic, but those from the Moonrise Coven can. Gabe isn't back yet with my virgins, so I'm just walking around this shack still as a skunk. I should have never trusted either of them. They are going to ruin everything for me because of their incompetence. Jessi's P.O.V. I stare in shock at the snakes on our bed. They don't appear to be poisonous. I think the person was going for shock value.
