Domenica and Nora were at a loss for words, they didn't expect Vernon to ask them for permission. And they didn't know if they should say yes or not. So they turned to look at me instead.

"It's alright, you go first," I told them. So they nodded and head back inside the Pack House.

I wondered what he wanted to do though.

He kept his hands on my shoulders, it was awkward like he was pushing me to walk, so I tried to shake him off, he laughed lightly and then moved his hand down to my lower back.

He was leading me to the front of the Pack House.

"I might need to invite your friend for a few questions regarding their Packs."

He finally spoke his mind and I knew he meant he needed to interrogate them, but that was the first time I heard someone speak so lightly and politely about an interrogation.

"Please go easy on them. If you need to know anything you could ask me as well. But I won't betray my pack members." I said as I saw something flick in his eyes.
