Chapter 48

Violet POV.

Today is Wednesday, the day we are going to meet the council. We asked Noah and Emily to take care of the pack until we returned.

We are on our way to Sebastian's parents' house to inform them of our plans. When we arrived, Anna opened the door.

We told them that we were about to leave the pack and she wished us a safe journey and told us to be careful. We left the pack with three guards to avoid any unnecessary alarm.

The council's place was quite far from our pack, so it was a four-hour ride.

The council is not a part of any pack, but they are elders in our community and they lead all packs in the country. When we got there, we were given two rooms; we took one and our guards took the other.

I was exhausted and feeling nauseous from the long ride, so I took a shower and calmed myself down.

I was about to sleep when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said, and a girl walked in. She said she had a message for us and I told her to go ahead.
