Violet POV

I was coming out of the nursery when I heard Emily's voice downstairs.

"Hey Girlie, how are you feeling now?" I said to her and she said she was feeling better.

We both sat on the couch and I told her Sebastian brought some toys home yesterday.

"These kids would get tired of toys," she said laughing.

I asked if her heartburn had gone because that is what she has been complaining about for the past week. She said she is better because she is on medication.

"My mum called and she said she is coming over to my place,"

"I am glad I was not the only one that was surprised"

"That's new," I said surprisingly.

Emily and her mum don't have a bad relationship but they are not close, she is closer to her father and she stays more with my mum which is why it was surprising that her mum wanted to come and visit her.
