A TWISTED MIND

Dimitri stood at the entrance of the room, observing those gathered for the meeting. This clandestine gathering with the leaders of the rogue community held the promise of answers, but he knew the repercussions of their response could alter the course of his allegiance forever.

As he stepped into the room, all eyes turned to him. The rogue leaders hardened wolves with battle scars etched upon their fur, sat at a large weathered wooden table.

One of the leaders, a grizzled wolf with piercing yellow eyes, spoke first. "Dimitri, we have been expecting you. Sit," he commanded, pointing to an empty chair at the table.

Dimitri complied, taking a seat, his posture rigid and his gaze fixed upon the leader. "I need to know if you followed my instructions," he said, his voice edged with urgency. "Did you send the rogue to eliminate Amanda as planned?"
