Cage came out of his room to see Ted outside, waiting for him. "Where is Brad?" He asked angrily. "He just finished a meeting with some elders so he should be in the throne room." Cage immediately took long strides to the throne room with his guards following behind him. This was a situation that required not just his but also Brad's interference. Their mate won't be safe if things keep going on like this. While he wasn't in support of their mate bond, there was nothing he could do but accept it. After all, Brad had accepted her without her knowing. The throne room was open with two guards standing beside it. "Your Majesty," they both bowed as he walked past them into the room. The news of what happened in the factory spread around like wildfire. Every Lycan in the kingdom heard about it. If anyone did not know about Lara, they know now. While some people blamed the workers for it, others complained about a werewolf living in the palace. It caused a lot of panic from the female Lycans as they hoped to get married to the Kings. Some elders start coming to the palace more frequently in order to have a glimpse of Lara while they are with the Kings. Suddenly the palace is now very busy. Cage liked it. Cage and Brad stared at her, not answering her questions. They didn't want to make it obvious. "You don't have to answer me. I can see it on your faces," she told them. "And here I thought I'd be the only one in your hearts," she smiled sadly. Kyla had always thought she would end up with them. Especially after they find the man responsible for their parent's death and they take their revenge. She had sacrificed her youth in search of the man so they won't be able to look at her at least.
