CHAPTER 57

As Cassandra opened her mouth to speak, Ted interrupted her.

"Would you like to dance with me?" He asked. She glanced at his face in shock. He brought out his hand and she took it.

"I'll see you later, Lara," she said as he pulled her to the dance floor. Lara waved her friend off.

Cassandra looked so happy Ted asked her for a dance. Lara wasn't expecting him to become bold with his intentions. Cassandra had told her, she had to pursue him every day even though they were mates.

Ted never wanted a mate. He didn't want her and he was vocal about it. Guess her persistence had paid off because he looked ready to do anything for her just by the way he stared into her eyes.

He was a man in love. Lara smiled. She was happy for Cassandra.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Fayn mocked as she sat beside Lara. Lara tensed up.

"You look really beautiful, whore. You don't mind if I damage your gown later on, do you?" She asked, smiling.

Lara glanced at her without responding. Fayn would definitely get angry
