Not getting a chance to speak to Javier after the whole incident was something that was getting on my nerves. Why did the boy have to be so stubborn? Could he not at least hear me out? I wondered.

As Bastien and I had discussed in his car with Sarcana the other day, I was going to keep playing Rylee and pretending to be her ally while gaining valuable information that I could relay back to Bastien and Co.

I did not doubt that at this point, Rylee was back from the elder forest but I did not think a direct approach was going to be the best way to get information from her.
