Chapter 111: The Beginning of the War

Margarette's POV

Kayden and I went inside the forest. I started to practice another witch skill while Kayden is just watching me. He has no plan of practicing because he doesn't need to practice anymore. Kayden was good enough to beat our enemies. And I was hoping that we are all prepared to fight against the enemies.

“You're doing great, baby,” Kayden said which made my face redden. He even gets up from sitting on the wood not far from my direction. Kayden walks near me and when he reaches me, he grabs my waist. I could hear the pumping beats of my heart because of Kayden. “I think you're ready for the attack.” He added which makes the smile on my face fade.

“I am now ready to attack them, Kayden, and to avenge my parents,” Kayden nodded his head agreeing with me.

“Let's end them, Margarette, because I wanted to bring back the peace again. I wanted us to start our new life again. I wanted to walk you in the aisle,” he said to me, and tears stream down my eyes. He wiped my tears away
