Chapter 43: Margarette's Hesitations

Margarette's POV

I never expected that Eloise and Venus were there with Kayden's friends, Jackson, Freed, and Asher. A smile formed on my lips upon knowing that my friends were there.

“Margarette!” They shouted, so I run to them and give them a tight hug.

“I am so happy that the two of you are here,” my friends chuckled because of what I had said.

“Of course, we are here because we wanted to visit you. Today was my mother's birthday celebration and she wanted you there,” Eloise said that, making my brows furrow.
