Chapter 77: Her Anguish

Margarette's POV

The way Hayden shook his head and the way he let out a sigh, I could feel something different.

“It was wrong, Margarette. My stepbrother should not marry that woman,” he said and I was the one who shook a head now.

“Nah, Kayden was old enough. He knows what he was doing and I don't give a f*ck to him anymore. I still can't forget what he did with me and I don't care if he's marrying another woman,” I uttered making Hayden let out a deep sigh again.

“However, I can't blame you, Margarette. I just want to inform you that Kayden invited me. He gave me five invitations,” he said and even showed me the invitation letter. My hands squeeze into fists while looking at the invitation letter. Pain hits my heart and tears were raging to fall from my eyes, however, I tried not.
