CLAIRE's POV

I was not sure if I had heard her right. I blinked at Sorcha and tilted my head at her.

“What?”

She stumped her feet, which was bare on the floor and glared at me.

“Are you deaf now? I said I want to see Dominik, now!” She yelled.

Her voice echoed through the hallway and I jolted back. I looked around and pushed her further back. I slipped out into the cold night air and shut the door behind me.

“Have you gone mad? Why would you show up at the pack house at four am? And why did you yell? What if someone heard you?” I questioned her with a lowered tone.

I feared that my voice may carry and that would alert the other wolves, or even Dominik. Sorcha clenched her fists and spoke within gritted teeth.

“I did not come out here for you to bombard me with too much questions. Now let me through!” she yelled again.
