CLAIRE's POV

The tension around us was at its peak, as we waited for the man to speak. Dominik however, was rather impatient. He tapped his feet on the ground occasionally, his eyes remaining fixed on the man.

I on the other hand, was torn between wanting the hear what the man had to say, and not wanting to hear it at all. It could be important, but at the same time, there was a foreboding feeling, crawling up my skin, warning me that whatever the man had to say, was going to be bad news for me.

Daniel roamed about, pacing back and forth with his hands on his chin, and his eyes looked to the ceiling. He looked like he was trying to recall something, or he was stuck in a trance.

After several minutes, he looked down to the ground and his gaze slowly trailed to me. Shivers ran down my spine as his red and blue eyes fell on me. His eyes were indeed beautiful, but the bizarreness of them, made it feel eerie to me.
