CLAIRE's POV

"What do you want? Are you here to tear down more books and gave father scold me for it?" I spat at her as my whole being boiled with anger.

Diana looked down to the ground, a sad look on her face.

"I know why you may think that way, but I am here to do no such thing," she replied and pursed her lips together.

What the hell was I looking at? Diana had a look of regret on her face. Why? Was she sorry for what she did to me? But that was an impossible concept to think of.

"Then why are you here?" I inquired.

Diana looked up at me and I was taken aback by the warm look in her eyes.

"I'm here to apologize for what I did the last time. I saw you walk in her earlier, so I thought that this would be the perfect chance to apologize."

I blinked at her, eyes wide. Was she really sorry? I found it hard to believe. My disbelief was mixed with anger. I rose up from my chair, fists clenched at my side as I marched up to her.
