DOMINIK's POV

My mind was a whirlpool 9f thoughts and questions. They danced in my head, refusing to let me be. I had Carlos leave my office for a few minutes to deliberate on his offer.

I could not make this decision alone. Luis had told me the offer was not a bad one, but a part of me was still skeptical. Carlos was my long time rival and enemy. We were neck ad neck with each other.

Why would he want to help me all of a sudden? My rationality was telling me not to trust him, but I knew that if I refused his offer, there would not be another way for me to resolve this issue.

I began to pace around the empty hallway of the pack house as my eyes stayed glued on the floor, my mind pondering long and hard on the situation around me. Claire was missing. My reputation was slowly going into the mud and Carlos had brought his offer to me.

I muttered a series of curses under my breath when I heard footsteps approaching me. I tore my eyes away from the floorboards and saw Luis walking over to
