"How's this?"
"Perfect." Camille smiled at Sid and gave a nod of approval.
True to his word, Sid had come by the next day so they could go out. There was a park not far from the Ark and with the weather being so good, they had grabbed coffees from a store nearby and headed over. However, Sid had insisted on bringing a picnic since the weather was promising and had spent more than ten minutes trying to find the perfect spot where they had the benefits of the sun and shade but wouldn't be sitting on tree roots or stones. He had also insisted on them sitting away from other park visitors.
"You're being rather fussy about where we sit." Camille couldn't help but tease the male as he began to set up.
"Only the best for you, beautiful." Sid smirked and patted the spot beside him on the blanket.

Two Weeks LaterCamille could feel the beads of sweat trickling down her back making her skin itch. The urge to scratch away the tickling sensation was almost unbearable but she forced herself to ignore it and blocked the blow coming for her ribs. Her funny bone smarted from the impact, sending a tingling sensation through her arm but Camille shook it off, dancing away on the balls of her feet to create space and to prepare or her next assault.It had been two long weeks since the doctors had identified the device Nathan had implanted inside of Camille. Her days had been filled with her giving up as much information as she could about Nathan and the people he knew or sitting on more consultations as doctors carried out more tests and they worked to try and figure out how to deactivate the device or better still, remove it.
