Jasmine's pov

Mike's kitchen....

I quickly dived in a corner when I saw Adele heading my way, she pouted her lips and was murmuring to herself.

Elvis most have provoked her, or maybe someone else did.

A relief sigh left my mouth after she's gone, thankfully, she didn't notice me...or I couldn't have been able to explain it.

Without wasting time and making sure nobody else saw me, I took long strides towards Thanatos office.

Thanatos lifted his head, when he heard the sound of his door being slammed open.

A frown was on his face as if he was ready to yell at the intruder, but he quickly wiped it off when he realized it's just me.

He smiled at me instead, showing he's happy to see me.

I turned around and locked the door from inside, then turned back to face him... I leaned against the door.

Wait...why did I just locked the door? Didn't I decide we're just gonna talk about Davis?

"Baby, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be resting at home?" He asked me.
