Eighty Three – Debriefing Part 1

He’d spent the night with Ember in the hospital; they had shared the bed, since she would have nightmares whenever he was not touching her. But also neither of them could even consider stepping away from each other for any significant amount of time. It felt like he was tearing himself apart if he stepped away for too long, even more if she had a nightmare when he did so.
The next morning his father linked him that they were having a debriefing in the war room after breakfast. “Alpha, it’s physically impossible for me to leave Ember.”
“That’s to be expected, but she should probably be there as well, considering she’s the future Luna and needs to be brought into decision making.” His father answered calmly.
OK, so he guessed they were both doing a debriefing after breakfast.
