Chapter 1 – Mom's plan

Ezekiel Richard Wright is a hot bachelor, a top-tier architect in the world, he is a good-looking, and intelligent businessman beside his flawless character, nothing good about him for he is cold and arrogant.

He was trained to do business at a young age and helped his father to close many deals, then he established the W Design Studio and managed it when he was in his college. Every woman throws themselves at him but this aloof man seems to not care.

“What is it?” he said.

“Mr Wright, your schedule this morning is rescheduled for tomorrow. I already informed the clients regarding the changes and they agreed to it.” Luke informed his boss, Ezekiel is sitting on his swivel chair while his head is facing the glass wall of his office where he can see the whole city of New York, he took a deep breath and glanced at his assistant.

Luke Valdez has been working at W Design Studio for years since then, he is an assistant to the CEO.

“What time will the plane arrive?” his eyes were focused on his desk.

“According to Mrs Wright she will be in New York at 10:00 in the morning,” he replied, Ezekiel didn’t answer instead he held his pen and play it in his hand.

“Also, she told me to remind you that you need to come earlier because she didn’t like to wait for too long,” Luke added, Ezekiel stopped playing on his pen and placed it on the table.

He frowned and said sarcastically, “So, she wanted me to wait for her, what a great idea. Isn’t it?”

“Yes, sir,” he spoke without a second thought, Ezekiel glared at him as if he will wring his neck.

Luke smiles forcedly and said nervously, “s—it, I think your mom missed you that she wanted to see you once she stepped her feet at the airport. And--- and it’s been years since she left New York and I guess she’s been dying to see you.” Luke breathes calmly after constructing an acceptable explanation for his boss.

“Okay, let’s go,” he sighs and stood up from his chair, he grabbed his coat that hangs at the back of his chair, steps out of the office and his assistant follows him.

After a long ride, they reached JFK International Airport. He went to the airport gate with his assistant and wait patiently for the arrival of his mother.

Thirty minutes had passed when her mother arrived together with Matthew and Zachary, his siblings; they walked in his direction, Luke took the baggage of MrsWright and put it in the car.

“My dear son, I miss you so much!!” She exaggeratedly said and hug him tight.

Mrs Anastasiaa Wright is Ezekiel’s mom, she is beautiful through her skin wrinkle, she’s thoughtful, bubbly, a lovable mother to her three sons, and an understanding wife to her husband. She is a famous ballet dancer and performs all over the globe. Though she already retired from her career due to her age, she still enjoys travelling to see the beauty of the world, dancing, and sharing her talent with the younger generation. She taught kids to dance in every country she went to and even establish a school for a kid who wants to bbenchersrsssShe is blessed to have handsome sons, her older son is Ezekiel, her second is Matthew and her youngest son is Zachary.

Matthew Blaise Wright is a hot nerd bachelor, a sporty person, and a software engineer, he’s three years younger than Ezekiel, he is gentle from the inside and outside.

Zachary Cyrax Wright is the youngest among the three, a freelance model and a medical student. He is an insolent playboy, he has gone through girls as if he’s changing clothes. No one stays with him, his long relationship lasts a week.

“Finally, you arrive. I thought that I will become stone here before you come,” he whispered apathetically. Mrs Wright loosens her grip on his son and laughs at him.

“You’re kidding me, my son. If I don’t know your attitude, I might get on what you say but sorry, I know you very well as much as you know yourself,” she incredibly said and burst into a laugh.

“Dude, we thought you will not come to welcome our mom. I messaged you but you didn’t reply,” Matthew said.

“I have no plan on coming but someone might make a scene again in the company,” he stated while looking at his mom, Mrs. Wright smirked at him. “You know that I hate dramas,” he added.

Matthew smiles and placed his arms on her mom’s shoulder, she leans her head at her son’s shoulder, “Kiel, don’t say that Mom might feel bad.” Matthew told him.

“I’m lucky to have such a sweet handsome son who cares for his mother’s feelings,” she sighs and looks sweetly at Matthew.

Ezekiel turns around his back to them and walks, Zachary runs to his older brother and whispered, “I hate dramas too.”

They are quietly sitting in the car on their way home, Ezekiel’s head is getting lighter, his body is getting heavier, he inconsistently leaned and his eye is starting to shut… but loud music echoes in the car.

His eyes open widely and look where the sound is coming from, he found Zachary holding his phone, his brother gave him an unsure smile seeing Ezekiel's piercing stare.

“Stop playing on your phone,” he restricted his brother.

“Okay,” he put his phone in silent mode and kept it in his pocket, he breathes, “bro, are you still suffering from insomnia?” he asked, Ezekiel looks at him and agree.

He sighed deeply and inquires, “how’s your study?”

“I’m about to graduate this coming year,” Zachary proudly announced.

“I'm happy for you, bro," Ezekiel says.

“That’s my son,” their mom happily stated.

Zachary looks at her mother who’s sitting at the back, “Mom, when will you go back?" he jokes.

Matthew and their mom become upset at his question; Ezekiel turns his cold face to her mom too and waits for an answer.

Their mom smiled at them playfully and said, “I will leave after the marriage of my son.”

A short sentence that can make them say a lot but only one question came out from their lips, the smile on Zachary's face vanished and their faces turn into an awful expressions.

“Who will marry who?” they all confusingly inquire.
