Chapter Sixty Seven

The Enchantress lifted her hands and Belle’s eyes glowed brilliantly blue as her Mother and Sebastian’s Ancestors faded into the shadows.

Belle read and read, all that day and the next feverishly instinctively knowing this was the key. Her Father chatted to her at dinner,

‘Well baby girl, you are eighteen in two days, will you let me spoil you?’

She laughed softly,

‘There is no need Papa, it’s just another day, don’t make a fuss’

He patted her hand,

‘Please Belle, there is so much I have to make up for’

He begged and she saw the sadness in his eyes,

‘No Papa, you were foolish but they took advantage of you, it is in the past and I forgive you. Let us move on, maybe we can move out of this dreary castle to our own little house, I would like that’

Gaston forced himself not to respond, it would kill Sebastian if they left, he stood and kissed the top of her head,

‘I will think of something’

He smiled,

‘Goodnight little Beauty, I love you’

She smiled back

‘I love you to Papa’
