Chapter Twenty Eight

When the Army plane landed at Norton Airfield the Base Commander took Mac on one side and told him what had happened. He waited until they got back to her home and then sat her down and told Zella. She looked at the floor and took a deep breath then said quietly,

‘It was the only solution, they would have carried on raping and killing women. Alexis told me many times if I did not please him he would ‘dispose’ of me. I saw it, how they treated the women. The three of them were evil, pure evil, they kept the women almost naked, they would beat them and then abuse them over and over again every day. The brothers thought nothing of handing the women over to their Guards and often stayed to watch them being raped by them. They would laugh at their screams and hit them if they begged for mercy, they took pleasure in holding the Mothers and forcing them to watch while their young daughters were raped. ‘
