Dahlia moved away from me and turned around, blushing. “Uh, we need to talk.”

I arched an eyebrow. It was never anything good when people pointed out they needed to talk. Was she going to call it off again? I stepped closer to her. “I don’t really feel like talking,” I murmured, trying to gather her in my arms.

She went under my left arm, escaping me. “Well, we have to.” With those words, she ran out of the room and I stood there for a moment, chuckling to myself before I joined her in the living room.

“Do you eat pasta? You haven’t eaten, have you?”

“I haven’t.”

“Good. I’ll make pasta and we can talk while we eat.”

My brain traveled to the last time I’d said those words. I had ended up fucking her over the table after we finished eating. I was certain she was thinking about the same thing because a faint blush coated her cheeks. Ignoring it because I didn’t want her to get even more embarrassed, I walked over to the kitchen and got out what I needed for pasta.
