39. Another day

I ended up staying at Damon’s place till Monday. Early that morning, he dropped me at my house and after kissing me goodbye, he allowed me to go in and prepare for school.

It became a routine. I’d spend the weekdays at my house and spend the weekends at his. Damon more than liked the idea, which was why we were currently at a mall because he demanded we buy everything I’d need since I was basically living with him on the weekends.

Damon was not the kind of person to say no to. I couldn’t win with him even if I tried. Halloween had come and gone, but some people still had their decorations up. Thanksgiving was close by but I didn’t know what I was going to do about it. I still had two weeks to think about it anyway.

“Shouldn’t we get clothes too?” Damon asked. We had gone to the furthest mall from the school. It was in the outskirts of New York and I was certain no one would see us here which was why I was relaxed.

“I don’t need them.”
